Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [23rd - 29th October 2015]

Love the Chelsea match reports when they lose, comedy gold.

After West Ham had taken an early lead through Mauro Zarate, Kurt Zouma’s header looked to have crossed the line, only for the decision to go the home side’s way, before Cesc Fabregas beat Adrian but saw the goal ruled out for offside when he appeared to have been played onside by the retreating West Ham defenders. Nemanja Matic was then sent off on the stroke of the break for a second bookable offence.

The ball did not cross the line, goal line technology literally (Richard) showed this. Cesc was offside, replays literally showed this, despite it being marginal :D.

They say this all the time at the moment. We were unlucky.. If player x wasn't given offside etc etc. Its always for decisions that were given correctly as well. It just makes the person saying it sound like a complete pleb.

"An Independent Regulatory Commission found that the match referee had made an OBVIOUS ERROR in dismissing the Newcastle United defender for denying an obvious goalscoring opportunity during the game against Sunderland on Sunday 25 October 2015.

Newcastle United have been charged for failing to control their players in relation to their reaction to the match referee’s decision.

Bearing in mind I haven't seen any of the game but this made me lol.
