Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [24 - 28th November 2012]

I'm not sure, he's not given the funds to purchase players. Jones is still picking up scraps. Basically, the squad and team is not good enough to be competitive at this level, the players that have come in aren't a major improvement on what was at the club previously and it feels like Jones has made side ways steps in terms of signings.

Really need Rooney to score a couple tonight, I predicted before we even signed RVP that Rooney would have a quiet season in front of goal, good thing Hernandez's form has compensated for that. I'd also like to see Jones start tonight, his return and performance was only good thing from last weeks trip to Turkey

-------------De Gea-------------
Rafael---Evans---Ferdinand---Evra
-------------Carrick-------------
-------Jones--------Anderson-------
------------Cleverley------------
----------RVP----Rooney----------

Subs: Lindegaard, Smalling, Giggs,Valencia, Young, Hernandez, Welbeck

Big game tonight, win and it's 3 on the bounce plus properly put the relegation zone. Draw and we will be close to jumping out, loose and it's 2 steps backwards really.

Should win though, going forward we are very strong, more than Norwich should be able to handle.

You didn't see Norwich against us and Everton then? It's interesting you say it'll be 2 steps back if you loose the same can be said (if not more so) for Norwich

Right i expect us to either lose or draw against Everton, they arent the pushovers as they have been in the past and seeing how badly we struggled to beat Villa over the weekend...im not expecting anything to change:p.

Mind you if the reforms that UEFA are putting in go ahead then at least Arsenal dont have to worry about getting into the top 4, we could still end up 7th and get into the CL. So yeh in the next few seasons, our trophy will be getting into the top 7:p:D...well thats if the reforms ever go through:p

Southampton win a couple against an out of sorts Newcastle and bottom of the league and now they're going for CL places, hey pingwing??

If Gibbo is back tonight Arsenal better watch out. We've only lost 1 PL match in 14 in which he's played.
