So disappointed to only get a point yesterday, IMO we dominated the game and if it wasnt for our occurring theme of seemingly not shooting on sight in away games we could have won the game.

Chelseas defence was much improved which was surprising as Rafa hasn't had much time.

I have to say it was disgraceful how Chelsea fans treated Benitez, I gather he isn't liked but the booing, signs and so on was sad to see. Terry wearing no16 on his kit was a bit dodgy and could just be a coincidence but....

I thought that was in reference to one of ex-players who had passed away weho used to wear No16.

Not sure about that. A quick Google suggests he usually has 26 on his training kit (unlike at United where the training numbers are seemingly assigned at random).

Haha! Paul Lambert is an idiot!

I know he has to save money on the wage bill to shape the squad how he wants but not playing bent like this when they need a quick goal scorer is madness! (also abonglahore is useless and should have been dropped first)

Hope they loose stupid money in bent, less than half the 25m spent on him would just be too good

Paul Lambert is using his lower league skills on decent players by trying to force them into team players with no ego. Shame Bent pretty much was that anyway and is being singled out like he is Ballotelli because he's villa's highest earner and Paul wants to waste all his cash on real tallent like Holt...

He'll be sacked by the time there's no way back for villa and they'll almost want McLeish back...

My Villa housemate and all Villa fans he/I know want Bent out of the club and are glad that he's likely to be off in January, so they are all delighted with his exclusion..

Says at the games everyone is against him in the stands, I'm not surprised, hasn't exactly done fantastic for 'em.
