Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [24 - 28th November 2012]

Has Fletcher recovered from his condition or at least able to maintain it now? Must be pleased when it was being said he couldn't play again

From what I understand he will permanently have the condition, however with proper monitoring he can contiue to play

We're counter attacking with the pace of a stationary object. We get the ball and then Scholes and Fletcher do a few sideways passes, back to the defence...and then QPR have had time to line up and have a cup of tea.

I think Rafael is the only player that is playing well out there, in fact you might say that's true of the last few weeks. Welbeck and Young have been crap, Rooney and RvP just might as well not be there, they aren't in the game. Evra keeps losing it cheaply and Scholes and Carrick are just not taking control.

I dont think you can blame him lol

Well that was appalling. A third lower half team we're making look brilliant. Seems we can even make the bottom of the table, manager-less QPR look good.

Is it time for subs yet?

60% possession for us apparently, but we're just doing **** all with it.

We should have had a pen though, Young looked like he was pushed over, his reputation working against him.

And to rub it in this stream is showing highlights of Dortmund destroying Ajax away from home at half time, wish we could play football like that :(

Everyone pundit wise and commentator asking why QPR hadn't done this before, QPR didn't look brilliant by any means, but that Southampton performance wasn't anything like their average this season, they were complete cack. Against Arsenal and plenty of other teams they've deserved a lot more than they got, todays performance is more like the average QPR performance. Problem being they've had loads of defensive injuries, Mbia got a absolutely stupid red card, Faurlin was one of their best players last year, and got injured and Zamora hasn't shown 1/10th of his Fulham form.

They weren't good but they were improving game on game till that Mbia sending off and they were matching us till the sending off.

If people judge QPR on the Southampton game, Redknapp will appear to be a god because that was one of two awful performances this year for them. They'll be far better than that, and improve as a team most likely with Mbia/Faurlin back and Diakete/Mbia all improving since they joined.

They could nick a result here, though that would be more down to Utd being pants lately, but Utd should really win quite comfortably.. Ferdinand though, Rio that is, he's been looking worse and worse recently, out jumped by Arshavin, lol, slipping over and big mistakes in the past few months. Utd really need to get on with it.

We (Southend that is) are still nil nil with Rochdale, form been much better of late but still not great at home, could move into the playoffs if we get a result.
