Tom Cleverley has been sent for a scan after picking up a knock against Ajax at Old Trafford on Thursday.

The 22-year-old midfielder was replaced by Paul Scholes an hour into United's 2-1 Europa League defeat to the Dutch champions. He’ll be assessed by the club's medical staff before a further update is provided.

Sir Alex Ferguson told MUTV on Friday afternoon: "He got a knock. We sent him for a scan but we don't think it's serious."

Cleverley returned to action in last week’s first leg in Amsterdam after almost four months out with a foot injury.

Either way it sounds like he's out of the Norwich game but tbh I doubt he'd of started anyway.

How long did Arsenal go on about their lovely football and not winning a thing :p?
 
Sunday is crunch time for liverpool. Winning will propel them on to finaly nail 4th in the epl. However if they loose its going to get very ugly especialy if carrol and the other expensive tripe do poorly.

I hope so. Players could get a bit more relaxed and play with more confidence knowing theres a trophy in the bag. Then again it could just turn them off and keep playing like we are.

Big difference between beating Cardiff and seeing out 4th in the PL.
 
Big home game agaisnt Nottingham Forest tomorrow, got to keep pressure on both Southampton and West Ham. Looking forward to seeing if our new signings Erik Huseklepp and Andros Townsend feature, they look good prospects.
 
Hopefully you can keep Townsend happy, seems a right ****. 9th club before 21 says it all.

That Huseklepp looks a good player, glad you got him as we have Pompy :D

AFAIK townsend has left leeds and is back with spurs
 
Huge game for us Sunday...can't see us beating the Spuds in all honesty especially with our crap defence...adebarndoor should bag a few Sundays because of the defence:p

Won't be able to watch the game as I'm out all day with the missus...blessing in disguise as well as I won't be able to unleash my rage in here :p

Will be a huge miracle if we manage to beat the Spuds on Sundays...I'll have my fingers and legs crossed:p
 
OH GAD this is going to be painful. Worst North London Derby in recent history coming up, I can feel it. There is pretty much a 0% chance I'm coming anywhere near this thread on Sunday, because the emo Arsenal fans on here will only wind me up further.
