Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [25th - 29th April 2015]

lol, dive, sure. Player sticks his leg completely across him after the ball is gone, makes contact but pulls leg away. When you're running and someone throws their leg in front of you, if the player leaves their leg in or even kicks through you... you attempt to jump away/back away from being kicked, that is the normal reaction. If the player pulls their leg back then the guy trying to back away from being kicked looks retarded.

Caz hung a leg out, made contact but just pulled his leg away before completely taking Fab down.

Oscar decision was awful by the ref, not giving a penalty for Fab I can understand, but to pretend there was no contact and give him a yellow for diving is ridiculous.

Sometimes players make every indication they are going to hurt/flatten you and it's normal to pull away, doesn't make it a dive OR a penalty.

Hand, yes, but only because Caz smacked it into the ground and it came up, you couldn't predict it and he didn't move his hand... still could have been given.

Coquelin, starting to get panicky like Flamini. Absolutely no need at all to foul him out on the wing with plenty of defenders back. It was a nothing/stupid 'challenge' just put your arms up and out from you at the player and you're asking the player to go down and get a booking. It's exactly the kind of utterly stupid card Flamini would get, 100% unnecessary.

Regardless of the penalties, Chelsea playing stupid football, stupid formation, stupid tactics. The anti football king. :(

Seriously when Utd and maybe other teams like Liverpool have had injuries they've gone and brought in 18 yr old strikers from the youth team. Big game, sure, but shouldn't Chelsea have some kid on the brink of deserving to be in the first team who could come in for a game like this. Wasting Hazard entirely and having almost no ability to hold the ball up.

Think that was to be expected, Chelsea set out to contain and hit Arsenal on the counter, especially with Costa missing.

Hate to give him praise but I think John Terry has been brilliant this half, he reads the game so well and is doing a great job against Giroud.
