as mentioned above, he has said he doesn’t necessarily want a team with a massive budget, he just doesn’t want his players sold from under him year on year to a league rival, which is what happened whilst at Dortmund.
I don't think he is looking for another team that can't compete at the highest level as long as they don't sell his star players. The only way you can guarantee that is to be one of the top teams in the world and pay top salaries.
We don’t need massive surgery, the basis is there for a top 4 challenge we just need a manager that knows his best formation and knows how to set a defence and midfield up.
I'm surprised you think this. You are likely to miss out on top 4 this season with United and City being well below par for most of the season. You can expect both Manchester teams to improve a lot over the summer. I will be amazed if Liverpool start next season in a better shape than City, United, Chelsea and Arsenal.
From what I've read the Dortmund fans don’t feel betrayed at all (they could also still qualify for Europe), but after nearly a decade managing the same team he just needs a new challenge.
I know is very well loved by the fans but football fans are nutters at times so I assumed some would be put out of shape by his timing. Hopefully thats not the case as he has been immense for them.
Will he come to us? Who knows, but we would be massively negligent in not at least sounding him/his agent out about the possibility. He's a huge upgrade on Rodgers (who I want out regardless).
I agree completely. Like a lot of managers, Rogers is good when the team is firing on all cylinders and opposition are not playing great but when you come up against good and well organised teams he is found out at times.
This is also my criticism of Wenger. He doesn't adapt like the Mourinhos of this world. Klopp would improve you considerably and perhaps bring some Dortmund players with him (or not as he would feel like he was poaching from his old team).
