It shouldn't be ignored that Fergie was largely responsible for a lot of these worse players, but Fergie got more out of the best and worst players in the squad and there was really nothing stopping Moyes getting rid of some of them and bringing in better players. Instead he blew his load on Fellani.

Buying Fellaini instead of Baines if you had to buy someone overpriced from your previous club, was a horrendous mistake.

United clearly have more than 3 choices for LB don't they? Fabio has not even started this season so I should assume he's better at defending than Buttner and Evra?
Evra can't defend, he's amazing going forward but that's it.

It's obvious Moyes didn't want to buy him for that. It was the moronic fans that would have been frothing at the mouth had there been no signing.
