I've got Curbs and Townsend gassing about the United Arsenal game. Though at least I get to watch it in glorious "uncompressed to buggery" HD unlike you poor buggers having to watch it on Sky or virgin or anything else. You really don't know how much you are missing.

City can afford to send Tevez to Argentina and still pay him every week if Tevez gets troublesome at training...... its not an issue.

You are missing the point.

We have proven time and time again that its not about having the best players, its about having a rotatable and happy squad.

No one ever believed that Ole was the best striker in the league but he would take his place on the bench and when called upon do a job.

O'Shea made a career out of it.

If we replaced those two with 2 "names" would they be happy to sit on the bench and come in when called upon? I very much doubt it.

Yes, City can get rid of Tevez with a wave of their hand if he kicks up a fuss over not playing and they can do the same with Balotelli. Both can leave in the next 5 days or in Jan. The fact remains that they will need a couple of strikers who will sit on the bench and come in when the likes of Dzeko gets a knock.
 
Welbeck needs to be put in a position where he demonstrates he isnt good enough.

That is what is happening right now.

If he scores loads of goals and proves everyone wrong - win.

If he doesnt - £6m from Sunderland in Jan.

This is always what worries me about Arsene ""I do not feel we are weak at all, we have a big challenge today so let us go for it. We are stretched but you do not expect to have so many players out. We will be up for it and we have the quality." - We are not weak???
He had better be busy over the next couple of days making some signings!!
