Jagielka has been poor so far this season.

Adam Johnson hasn't had a shout for City.

Scott Parker?? Lol!

Defoe is out of form.

That list and you pick out Milner? Didn't see him against Bolton I take it? Easy MOTM contender. Not as easy on the eye as Silva but easily did as much for the team. Had a good pre-season too. He's playing out of his skin for a place and if he does half as good for England you'll be plenty pleased I'm sure :) 2 assists already this season too.

Certainly doing a lot better than Carroll at the minute :p

shame about the international break.

Bit of a shame with Arsenal but they can't even lay claim to playing the prettiest football these days. Both United and City are better passers on current form. I think that unless they get themselves sorted pronto the Liverpool have an excellent opportunity to get themselves back into the top 4 a year or two earlier than they probably planned.

This United team reminds me a lot of 06/07, superb attacking football for the most part but will we need that added bit of guile that we perhaps missed during the latter stages of that season?

You could actually make a half decent team out of that.

Hart
Richards Smalling Jones Cole
Johnson Cleverley Parker Young
Rooney
Bent

Either a 4-4-2 or 4-2-3-1, it would actually be half decent. Just watch Capello **** it up.

Not sure what the consensus is but for me the performance against Spurs was actually better than todays, even against Arsenal it's hard to take much pleasure in winning that way due to how we were gifted so many of the goals.

TBH only really Rooney, Cleverley and Young stood out for me today as well, the rest were extremely frustrating especially with their final ball (I'd love to see Cleverley's pass completion stats if anyone can get hold of them)

What's the opinion on Walcott's goal? Are people pointing it as another mistake from De Gea? Shame if that is the common opinion after his penalty save and then the double save he made moments later.

I think Gary Neville shares your view, and seeing as he's been a brilliant pundit so far (throws up in mouth), you could well be right.

It was Evra thinking the game was done and dusted really, it only looked poor from De Gea because it wasn't really smashed between his legs and seemed to go quite slowly. Saying that, the pace from that short distance wouldn't have made a massive difference but I think that's why it looked worse than it was.

Nani was unbelievably frustrating today, just got childish and selfish, like Ronaldo but without the talent really.

Cleverley made 69 passes, 7 of which (all forward passes) were unsuccessful.

Don't think Walcott's goal was De Gea's mistake, if it was another keeper it wouldn't be mentioned.
