Yep, it's going to be close. Chelsea need to win all of their remaining games and we need to lose against them and not beat Brighton. Draw against Chelsea or a win against Brighton and we're safe but we've looked awful in the last two league games and they're grinding out results.

We've taken our eye off the ball in the league, there's no getting away from that. Having such a big lead over Chelsea, coupled with the CL run and our injury problems has meant that we've made too many changes and players haven't been 100% focussed in these league games. These draws have meant that we now have to be fully focussed in the Chelsea game and can't afford to make so many changes. The only saving grace is that even if we do go on to make it to the final, it's not until the end of May so there's less need to rest players vs Chelsea or Brighton.
 
I can't see Liverpool not beating Brighton on the last day. I'd be very surprised if it happened, and well happy,.... but realistically....
I hope the Seagulls can do the business next Friday against United. :)
 
Talk of Wenger fielding a B team, can't say I blame him given the current circumstances, but another 8-2 wouldn't be good (for them).

Bet we lose now :p

Am I missing something here. Liverpool are 6 points ahead. Even if we lose to Chelsea and Brighton, Chelsea would need to win all their game and make up about +20 goal difference.
