Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [27th October - 1st November 2017]

first and last 10 minutes of the 1st half Utd were pretty good without creating a really decent chance (even Rashford's 1st free kick was going to hit the post at best if Lloris had left it) - other than that Utd haven't done much

Saying that the performance is 10 times better than that at Liverpool or last weekend.

Spurs have missed a couple of decent chances with a dodgy last pass in the utd box, DDG will love all the long range shots - will snaffle them up without sweating

Our set pieces are beyond woeful, how hard can it be?! They practice all the time, just whip it in at a proper height and angle.

I'll say it again, there aren't enough good central midfielders in the league. So few are capable of taking hold of a game and dictating. It's all very well having good strikers and wingers, but there's such a void of quality in the centre that the rest of them will really struggle

Pogba makes that difference for us, we are absolutely awful without him, can't string 3 passes together. If we had Messi up front he'd have done no better so far.

Exactly - it's no good having great players in the final third without people capable of playing it into them with any quality.
