They'll never be any good with Rooney in the team, granted he played a couple of excellent forward balls today but the rest of the game he was abysmal. I'd lost count how many times he got tackled for being too slow on the ball but you don't see MOTD highlighting that. Either play him as striker and tell him to stay up top, no dropping deep to make utterly pointless one-two's with defenders or bench him.
Yep. Who ever is in charge will need some serious money to spend in Jan... to get in the players that everyone knew we needed, and Koeman to be fair, towards the end of the window. A striker and 2 defenders.
There's been a couple of threads on GOT about Everton being too loyal or sentimental towards players... the Kenwright effect really. It's really showing now keeping Jags & Baines going when other teams like Chelsea just get to the point were it's 'thanks a lot for your work, see you later'. For Everton it's like trying to flog a donkey on it's last legs.
