It's really think two of Suarez's best qualities are persistence and simply having the belief to do things. So many players don't run forwards because they think the ball won't run for them. Suarez would when he runs into three defenders just run beyond them incase the ball hits three legs and drops behind them. He often lost the ball but came out the side with it not through skill but playing the odds it might come out the other side and he scored several goals at least though that. Also just shooting where too many players will play the percentages and decide not to shoot because they probably won't score. Hitting it early, shooting from range or running at a defender where so many players these days instead play the boring sideways pass or are too scared to miss to take the shot.
That is something I believe younger players often start with but lose confidence in, the more they lose the ball the more then stop thinking it might drop for them. IE in the example with Suarez above the ball might only come out goal side of the defenders one in twenty times, but if you still run beyond them 20 times you'll get it once and probably score. Players who drop deeper because 19/20 times it will come out that side lose that chance.
I like watching Kane play because he makes those runs, he keeps moving and he shoots where so many players would wuss out. I'm not comparing his style of play to Suarez, just the mentality that it's better to constantly try and fail than not try and thus not fail that SO many players seem to have these days.
I did say last year that something important under Sherwood was that two promising players who a lot of managers wouldn't risk got a lot of games under Sherwood and that would help them progress faster and make a bigger contribution. Sherwood had the balls to play Kane/Bentaleb, two players who are I believe much better today than they would otherwise be if someone didn't take the risk and give them starts.
Wenger doesn't take these risks on such players anymore and they end up instead leaving having barely played when their contracts run out. Not enough managers give such young players the chance they need to turn into players who are good enough.
