That was about as un-Liverpool a performance as you'll ever see. We defended incredibly, I can't think of a single chance City had all game but our passing and attacking was horrific. I lost count of the amount of times we won the ball back and found ourself in amazing counter attacking positions, only for us to just gift the ball back to City. Had we been able to play very simple passes then we'd have won that game by 3 or 4.
Agreed with Wijnaldum as MOTM. He's been quietly impressive ever since he signed but the last month or so he's been excellent for me. When he signed I saw him as a forward that could cover in midfield if we were desperate but he's a proper midfielder. He reminds me a bit of Dembele at Spurs, as strong as an Ox, always looks like he's got time on the ball, plays the right pass and looks like he could pop up with a goal too.
