Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [29th December 2017 - 4th January 2018]

Salah's apparently out for two weeks :(
Gutted but we have the depth now, ox or Lallana can come in, and we shouldn't need to just rely on salah for next two games despite how awesome he has been.

Mane form will turn around again soon I think.

Do wonder if dijk will get a surprise start today, doubt it but be nice

You're probably underestimating Burnley like you did earlier in this season, as did Spurs, Chelsea and Man U did also. I'd say you do need Salah today but depends on if Mane ups his game I guess. Front three of Coutinho - Firm - Mane should still be too strong.

The front tree should be strong enough with out salah, I'm not underestimating Burnley at all but the team we have should cope fine,

Mané isn't rumoured for a transfer so you might be out of luck, that's the only time he ever upped his game for Southampton :p

He can't actually be registered to play until tomorrow. Earliest will be Everton but Klopp has already hinted that it might take a little while for him to get back to full fitness.

So apparently after Cech got a yellow card from Dean, for asking why he gave the penalty and not even getting answer back....he called Dean a ******* ****:p

Something most people if not all think the same of that bald headed retard:p

Well countinho out aswell as salah. Team in full for us.
#LFC starting XI: Mignolet, Alexander-Arnold, Lovren, Klavan, Gomez, Can, Wijnaldum, Lallana, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Mane, Solanke

Subs: Karius, Robertson, Matip, Milner, Firmino, Ings, Woodburn

Hope solanke gets a goal, has been close few times, once he gets one I can see it giving him a big lift in confidence

Interesting to see whether that's a back 4 with Gomez LB or if it's 3 at the back with Ox as a wing back.

Coutinho & Salah supposedly are both expected to be fit for Everton or Barca & Real's next games.

Reckon be a back 4 to start with but least with players w can just change it up if needed.

The armband doesn’t matter. Good teams have numerous leaders regardless of whether they have an armband on or not. So, given it doesn’t matter, perhaps it’s worth a punt giving it to him as it may raise his game etc.
To most it doesn't matter however it does effect players, and Mignolet isn't the best anyway so giving him added pressure is a stupid idea
