Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [29th December 2017 - 4th January 2018]

Much better in the second half, more movement, more interplay. Everton tried to kick us off the park and poor refereeing helped that. I wonder if McCarthy will face action for that one on Mata, I doubt it considering their consistency lately.

Utd nearly let Everton back in the game at 0-1, but over all really deserved the win after a very slow start.

Pogba started running the game after about 30 mins and really made the difference to both goals (which was really well taken by Martial and Lingard) - has been shocking after his ban until today.

Souness spot on about the first goal, Pickford should have saved that. He makes a lot of saves that look great but his footwork is horrible - he's often diving from a standing start and he doesn't get across his goal nearly as well as he could/should.

Pogba has to do this every game now, he can bully anyone if he wants to.

I know he was the captain today but I felt he was very close to getting a needless yellow for mouthing off after that tackle on Lingard in the 2nd half, that's the bit he needs to control abit better imo

we certainly missed the rest of his attitude over the Xmas period he showed today

But unfair for calling him out on that...we had players like Keane do that every game.

Keane was a lunatic, Pogba's petulant and you're more likely to **** a ref off acting like a petulant kid than a lunatic.

On the subject of petulant ****s, even when he wins Mourinho has to act like a **** in his post-match press conference.
