Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [29th March - 2nd April 2014]

lol

Rafael being utterly brain dead as per usual and a great free kick. Yes in any game someone can get ahead but realistically Villa away shouldn't have a hope in hell of going ahead at Old Trafford.

How badly he's screwed up, his having a go at the "ageing" squad and saying even Fergie would have struggled is basically pushing the blame on the players and trying to say he isn't doing that badly. Seriously, that is the way to get the players on your side, after you come in and utterly destroy the team morale, tactics, confidence.... blame the players.

Rafael is a liability

He's never at any stage given the impression he has the temperament to be a top class fullback. Saying that, so many fullbacks at the top of the game(not necessarily top fullbacks) are equally as panicky and stupid, Alves does very similar things.

Has some potential if he can stop being so stupid but after this many years I just don't think he's going to get himself under control.

While Albrighton was probably playing for it and there wasn't actual contact, that, had he not leaped out the way Buttner who got no where near the ball would have demolished him.

I'm somewhat happy for ref's to just let play go on in those situations if not give a freekick. But players who try to hack a player down can't complain when a player jumps out of the way like that.

Kagawa plays #10 perfectly. Hasn't had a chance to play it yet this season.

Honestly, build the team round him with Rooney as main striker. Valencia and Wellbeck on the wings. Again, Mata need a chance to play proper #10 behind rooney too.

1-1 now

Totally agree. Absolutely fantastic footballer.

Is Nani in the squad? Heard he was back fit as of last week. Would like to see him back, maybe with a view to replacing Young.

Agreed. Lovely player with bags of talent. Anyone amble to find any stats on how MU have done when he starts (WDL etc)?
