Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [29th March - 3rd April 2019]

We lost the game because Ashley Young was a complete muppet and now everyone is calling for Solskjaers head. Football fans are fickle these days.
Not calling for Oles head. The timing of his appointment was bizarre; I don't know whether Ole will work out as a manager or not .

Appointing him permanently just as the honeymoon period was ending is bizarre especially as there is no risk of losing him. Far better to evaluate at the end of the season .

I swear being man utd manager makes people turn into gollum. First it was Moyes and now Ole!

nope he got the ball first, not all fouls are yellow cards
You're right, not all fouls are yellows but studs up, half way up the side of the shin which also prevents a counter attack is at the very least a yellow. Ole just said there's certainly not any complaints about the decision too.

It was definitely a second yellow for Young. It's one of those borderline ones where some refs might even have sent him off. Going over the top of the ball and somewhat lunging as Young did risks breaking someone's ankle/shin.

All-in-all it was another odd performance from United. There were far too many wayward passes and loose touches and we played into Wolves counterattack yet again.

It was definitely a second yellow. Just a dumb, desperate lunge from a player who is clearly past it.

Tonight was unfortunate really, we should have been 3-0 and clear by 25 minutes but Lukaku and Lingard both missed sitters. There's not much Solskjaer could have done about that. We always look weaker with Martial and Rashford out.

Need to bin off most of the Utd team and rebuild it. Selling Pogba, Lingard, Herrera, Mata, Matic, Smalling, Jones, Young, Darmian, Fred, Sanchez and Lukaku should do it.
