Wow, another stunner, from Shelvey!

Started out totally one sided but this has turned out to be quite an entertaining game.

I can never get over how quiet these forums are when city are the only team playing. They have almost zero support. We dont have a single fan at my work either and we have 100+ employees.

Never has a team been so plastic before. Can't wait for the day when they become nobodies again.

It's quiet when anyone except Liverpool and Manu are playing, always has been. City have become the team to hate on here because they are the rival to Liverpool. So all the sad little comments come out about the team players and manager. The hate comments. Of course City don't have many supporters at your workplace, I doubt they were successful when they were kids, in the same way everyone my age is a Liverpool fan. Plastics?

Anyway said ages ago Liverpool would win this season at an absolute canter. Then when City start re-building and off loading some of the poor defenders they have brace yourself for more hate about buying success etc etc.

After the CL final being so anticlimactic it almost feels like the league is going to be the same this year, although obviously Liverpool fans won't care if there's no title race.

Who cares. United, Liverpool and Arsenal have been at the top of the PL for decades and have the fan base to go with it. City will grow and in 10 years they might have a much larger fan base. It’s a bit sad that people think you can’t follow or support a team unless you happen to live right next to them. The more good teams in the PL the better in my opinion and if someone wants to support City then good on them.
