Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [29th November - 1st December 2019]

Man U and pool matches are definitely the liveliest on here, followed by Arsenal and spurs. Not much happens at all with other teams.

I've read many forums for years and not posted. I've read this one for about 10 years, planet-f1 since 1996 and never felt the need to do anything other than read or even register. Not everyone has to post on everything they read. :)
 
Great performance from Newcastle I honestly didn't see that coming, fully expected a 5-0 thrashing. Almiron looks like a promising player but frustrating at times, Shelvey should at the very least be in the England squad.
 
Mixed first half. Started the game well and created enough chances to have scored another goal or two but after going 2-0 up we've been a bit sloppy and allowed Brighton to get back into the game. We could really do with starting the 2nd half well, getting an early goal and putting the game to bed. On a side note, about time VVD got himself another goal - he's a colossus and should be scoring more goals. If he starts scoring semi regularly, like a Hyypia or Terry did, then he's quite possibly the greatest CB that's ever lived.
