to be fair - do you know for sure Fergie had money for more players of the experience /style you seem to want (which most likely cost £20m+) ? We would be down with LIverpool currently without RvP in the side while Rooney was out
 
As much as I think Ryan and Paul have probably been the 2 best midfielders in the prem for the past 20 years. They have never played well together and still puzzles me why fergie plays them together.

I don't really need to know that, our central midfield is by far the most flawed area in our team and until that is fixed I'll continue to call it as such. What did Dembele cost btw? He came and bossed us for Fulham, then left for Spurs and is helping do the same again. The best might cost a fortune, better than what we have doesn't have to.
 
good half from spurs, got the midfield in control and have taken our chances.

now we face the problem of the changes united will make :(

Well yes you do need to know that if you expect Fergie to buy players if he doesnt have any money to do so!

and Dembele (by reports over the Summer) didnt want to come to Utd, so its irrelevant

Actually you will find "better than we have" usually does, simply because it IS Man Utd calling, and therefore prices go through the roof.
 
Kagawa needs to be pulled off (or moved to the left) we're playing with 10 men while he's on, RVP's having to drop deep to do his job and when he does that there's no one on to be on the receiving end of his passes. Need to get the ball to Nani more as well, he's got the beating of Vertongen every single time.

Injuries are killing us at the moment but Rooney on at the very least at half time for either Kagawa or Giggs.
 
we've shown (so far) why dembele and sandro is a better pairing than parker and modric so far in this game. away from home, against united, we needed to dominate through the centre and we have .... so far.

still,, if united bring rooney on and he plays deep with welbeck running around, i can see united scoring.
