Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [29th September - 1st October 2017]

Otamendi should have got a red for me, incredibly dangerous, he jumped in, he landed pretty much through his ankle and it was a scissor tackle. Chelsea keep putting in these well, very Mourinho like uncreative and defensive displays against top teams and often look inferior as a result.

Just seen Kane's goals from yesterday, this guy is on fire at the moment and imo one of the best strikers in the world. They had a segment on Sky before the Champions League show this week about how he isn't world class because he hasn't done anything for England in a competition yet, what a load of ********, he's up there with the best.

By far the best English striker we've seen since Shearer.

£40 odd million for Sigurdsson? He's been absolutely abysmal in this opening 15 minutes.

Everton now 1-0 down, comical stuff from the likes of Schneiderlin.

Koeman has dropped a clanger. Sigurdsson has done nothing since slipping over in Croatia and, along with Rooney and Klaassen, has been a terrible signing.

Everton let their prized asset go and failed to find a replacement what-so-ever. After making 2 good signings with Keane and Pickford they have made some dreadful signings after that. Vlasic is a decent signing but all of these so called top players have done nothing.

This is ALL on Koeman, he needs to go. It's becoming increasingly clear he has lost the dressing room and the players are bereft of confidence.

Everton don't need another egotistical manager, they need someone down to earth. I'd have Sean Dyche here in a heart beat, or give the job to Unsworth who has been exemplary for the u23s.

For now Everton will have to limp their way to January and hope to sign a half decent striker, anyone with a bit of pace and a bit of physicality to get amongst defenders and cause problems.

Hard to see how Koeman survives after this performance, I can't think of too many worse from teams so far this season outside of Crystal Palace.

He dodged a bullet against Bournemouth, no dodging here. Did the Burnley keeper make save?

I have no idea who thought it was a good idea to take Rooney back to Everton but they are a complete idiot. Anyone who had watched him over the past few years knew he is slow, disinterested and detrimental to any side he is in.
