Newcastle are awful. The fans likely won't believe a word but it's what Alan Pardew did early in the season that's keeping them up and they should thank him. They wanted him out, they got what they wanted and it's been a total train wreck since. Be careful what you wish for.

So Pardew is a better manager than Carver? Who'd have thought. Surprisingly not every Newcastle fan wanted Pardew out, in fact the majority were happy with him and thought he was doing the best job he could do under the 'circumstances'.

We were dire under Pardew and we're turbo dire under Carver. Pardew doesn't somehow escape all responsibility for the mess this team has become because he left half way through the season ffs.
