Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [2nd - 4th October 2015]

1 Man City
2 Man United
3 Crystal Palace
4 Leicester

Got to hand it to Palace and Leicester. Especially Ranieri, I thought it was an odd appointment at first.

Did anyone else think Palace's penalty was a blatant dive by Zaha? They just glossed over it on MOTD and said it was defo a penalty.

He could have just stepped over him if there was going to be any contact which I'm doubtful of anyway. He was well done before there was any chance of contact anyway.

Arsenal will probably grab a top 4 finish as always ;) Good seeing other teams having a go as well though.

I don't think Leicester can keep doing these come backs, they are scoring but also letting in far too many goals. I think they'll fade away by Christmas. Palace on the other hand is looking strong, can see them finishing above the likes of Liverpool and Tottenham.

I'm a gooner and actually looking forward to the game today. I am not overly confident, but I am looking forward to seeing how united have progressed, as I tend not to watch them unless I have to. I like the new (old) manager and the team he is building. Obviously I want them to all play less well than Arsenal, but I think it will be an interesting 90m to watch nonetheless.

Would be nice to see, people were saying similar of Southampton last year but we started to slip then really lost it when Forster got injured

Confirmed #LFC team v @Everton: Mignolet, Skrtel, Sakho, Can, Clyne, Moreno, Lucas, Milner, Coutinho, Ings, Sturridge

Confirmed #LFC subs v @Everton: Bogdan, Gomez, Rossiter, Allen, Ibe, Lallana, Origi

Pleased to see Ings in the side, one of the few good points of the season.

That would imply its doing somewhat decently :D

Also continuing with something if it is working is perfectly fine, how you adjust when it is being well countered is more important, which he completely failed to do post Swansea last year
