They are average at best! It would be like our lot booing after losing today. Wake up and smell the coffee, you are mid table at best!!
That wasn't even average. That was Non-League standard and we're lucky to be only a goal down. Combine this with our last two performances, or even the whole season, and I feel they're rightfully booing, and this is coming from someone who defended Houllier to the hills last season.
Oh, and I cannot wait to see the inevitable collapse of Newcastle after todays defeat.

We simply just cannot practice set piece play, Young had a reputation of delivering from set piece's yet comes to United and suddenly he's as woeful as the rest of them
Even when we had Beckham swinging them in we very rarely scored, might as well award a goal kick giving us a corner
Yeah I agree, our set pieces are just appalling, no matter who takes them. For some reason other than Vidic really (not sure about Smalling yet but he might be a threat in the future) our defenders never seem to win much.
I know, so what does it matter to you if we scrap results

The performance has been okay, but there is absolutely no end product. Jones is carrying the team when it comes to attacking.
Well a couple of times his passing has caused a move to break down. Nani has looked a class above tonight, so much better than Young it isn't even funny. We just hoof it long because we have no creativity in the centre of the park.

We've had three shots on target and three off according to BBC. So if you're not even watching it you're just trying to wind up by accusing us of scraping it when we had 60% possession?
I think a lot of the problems is united have lost the fear factor because other clubs have so much coin to buy trophies. So instead of the prem being a 2 horse race its now 4-5 horse race.
Before clubs used to hate playing united knowing they are so good this gave united a huge edge but with so many good clubs in the prem now it has become common place and united have lost the edge.

We aren't scraping it, but it's been rather poor to be honest.
Some good attacking play but it's all outside of the penalty area (aside from the goal), that isn't doing us much good when there is no end product at all unless Jones is there doing something a bit unorthodox.
wow! 60% possession and 6 shots. can you not just admit that you're not doing so great performance wise but are results wise? hence my 'scrape' comment?

But that doesn't mean we're even close to scraping it today, why can't you admit that you just looked at a scoreline and made a silly comment based on it?

I agree. I pointed out his faults (For every good player bought he overspent on two crap players) and the fact he could play boring football at times but I knew there was a massive chance we'd go backward if he left. Shame he threw his toys out the pram and left. Houllier got pushed out of the club by the fans and we were starting to play well as the season went on.
