That summed up Carrick perfectly. Won the ball really well then instead of passing it straight down the line to Valencia he stopped, thought for a couple of seconds then passed it sideways, chance gone.

Looks like jenas ruptured his Achilles tendon there. That's the second time today somebody has gone down like that. Doubt there was anything on the pitch
