Harsh to start comparing Salahs goals with an out and out number 9 is what im getting at, especially when Cole had played with that team for a season previously. Salah is new into the Liverpool team and is a winger / wide forward and is on track to very similar numbers.
 
He's crossed that from Brighton pier!!! It took ages to get into the box. How Mustafi has missed that I don't know.
 
So sad really. Because had Wenger gone a few years ago, surely he'd get a statue at the club. Now??! Sure he deserves it but it's gonna take a few years for this bad taste to leave the club.

Read up on serious head injuries, the moment he came back people were talking about how it would undoubtedly cut his career short. No one expects him to go Buffon long, but Buffon himself is an exception to the usual age players decline at so using him as a reference is completely ridiculous to begin with. It's like saying every other CB is a joke because they didn't play to the same age Maldini did.

Cech is still primarily declining due to playing for Arsenal than age, every keeper who leaves us improves, every keeper who joins gets worse. Chesny is now playing for Juve after great improvement with Roma to the degree Juve brought him to be Buffon's replacement. Fabianski has improved significantly, he's not a world beater but he's gotten much better since leaving. Most players that leave Arsenal get better, but goalkeepers in particular seem to improve more than any other position.
