lol, my stream crashed with the ball almost over the line.... finally came back and 3-3, oh well.

Newcastle improving, after the way the team played second half of last season you were always going to need time to get back to form, find some goals and new players gel together a bit. While not a great result at all they are improving and Aarons was fantastic.

Compared to how Newcastle played in the previous 6 months, hugely improved, I wouldn't forget that.

Also, epic result for Stoke/Hughes.

Not really, they played side to side around our box a bit but didn't really have much in the way of clear cut

We probably had the better chances, missed a sitter to go 2 up.

Last 15 were a bit hectic, but natural tendancy is too sit back

Defensively we were embarrassing today. A bit of pace in the opposing team and panic mode sets in at once. Hopefully we can get Virgil van Dijk or some other relatively mobile centre-back in before the window closes.

I'm sure Pardew is the exact opposite of all other managers in that he excels in getting the least, as opposed to the best, from the players made available too him.

Would be so happy if we binned him for a decent manager but it will probably never happen

I wonder if LvG's system will turn out to be like AvB's system at spurs where no one had a clue and it never worked.

LvG shoe-horning players into this system strikes me as an egotistical thing that LvG is doing to cement his place as a revolutionary great tactical mind. If he cared about winning he could easily get results with that squad. The argument that his system is going to help Man Utd become dominant is not persuasive to me.
