The scousers had a fantastic 40 mins against city, and they couldn't score.

But the way they played has me slightly worried as a Spurs fan. Both defenses are not the best, but attacking wise it should be a fantastic game. COYS

The way we played should have you worried, that and we have a better team and finished above you last season...

I don't think it will be the same team that played against City, firstly Johnsons out meaning a return for the superior Manquillo and Moreno will have had a full week with his new squad. I reckon we'll be playing two up top aswell.

Seems Markovic is making his full debut not Mario.

Source? I'd of expected it to be Mario though him coming on late for us might be better if we have a lead less pressure
 
A lad on twitter who never gets it wrong. I'm not sure id throw Mario in yet, as much as I'd want to. Markovic deserves a shot.

I assume its for Coutinho aswell unless he's dropping deeper and its for Allen.

Long as Lucas doesn't play we should be okay, I'd give can his debut too though I think he is waiting for our home game to do most of them in one go

Lucas didn't play against man city and we got dominated 2nd half in midfield - we have fair bigger worries then wether Lucas plays.

Hopefully it's for Gerrard - midfield of Henderson, Can and Coutinho with Sturridge, Sterling and Markovic/Balotelli up top.

Yeah but I've said it before gerrard could have many poor games and not be dropped and that will still happen even under Rodgers I'd imagine. Gerrard is doing great in his new role but he only struggles if his partner doesn't do the leg work e.g Lucas didn't at Southampton and for some odd reason Henderson didn't last week
