Despite conceding the goal we've been the better team and should've had a penalty and be a man up.
Happens a bit too much

Clearly havent been in these threads much as nearly all of us who support LFC have said he is doing terrible atm
Same old crap story, We turn up for the first 20mins but concede a goal and then fall to pieces. Flanno weird situation last season didnt make many appearances but did well this year doing quite bad. Enrique having a shocker. Carroll well less said about that incident the better what a waste.
Suarez started brightly but as with rest of team especially Gerrard has faded from the game
Newcastle deserving there lead, should have had a pen for there handling of the ball but decisions like that come and go wouldnt and shouldnt excuse how poor we have been since there goal.
I await KD excuses of how we tried,players need time or there tired etc what ever ******* he has to spout today

Not a bad half from us. Played some good football and created some good chances but one mistake has cost us yet again. How we didn't get a penalty and Newcastle a red for a blatant handball on the line is beyond me
Shelvey's playing very well, and is proving how much of a farce the decision to continue playing Henderson and Adams ahead of him has been, and Suarez and Bellamy have also contriubuted to our best movements.
Not impressed with Carroll in the slightest though. Not only does he appear to be putting in far more effort in this game (I expect him to do that in every game he plays for us) but his dive was pathetic and his lack of fight to win headers in their box is abysmal. I'd take a £30 million pound hit in the summer just to get rid of him.
Also worried about Gerrard. Knew injuries and age would prevent him from playing as he used to for us but he's been completely anonymous

He is in that CM role, when really he is better where Shelvey is.
Bellamy hasn't been great tbh, either offside or **** poor balls.
Story of our season there in 45mins really, dominate, make chances, nobody puts them away, opposition gets one chance and scores, heads go down and rest is history.
Ludicrous dive by Carroll, no idea why he did that. Dont really understand why the newcastle fans are booing Carroll, but I guess thats fan for you.
I still think we need a real goal poacher, someone in the Rush/Fowler model, guy who just goal hangs and nabs it in from 6 yards repeatedly. We make chances, we just dont have an out and out finisher.

To be fair you have been better first half but as Mark said decisions come and go and you can understand the ref missing the pen because it took a slow replay to notice it. But we took our chance which is what meters and we look dangerous on the brake.

Can you understand the ref booking Carroll but not Ben Arfa for an equally bad dive ?
Id give Carroll away on a free at the moment he is that useless for us, Im sure KD will do some silly subs late on too so we have that to look forward to

The "King Kenny" illusion has long been shattered for me. He can't pick a good starting 11, and the timing and choice of subs is very very worrying sometimes. 4th was a dream lost weeks ago, we now sit 13 points behind Spurs. Millions of pounds wasted over summer (Downing I'm actually impressed with, Henderson too when Kenny realises he can't play on the RW). Sigh.
