I don't understand him playing, like they've got multiple quality fullbacks who I would play miles ahead of him. They gave him a shot and he's just a joke, every game I see him making insane mistakes.


lol, Vert goes off, such a stupid handball to start off the game. Arsenal have been great except for mostly one spell and a non existent penalty.

Torreira, love the guy. I still for the life of me have no clue how Arsenal went a decade between Gilberto leaving and Torreira coming in where we had mostly youngsters who weren't good enough or bringing in Flamini, and a bunch of people whose natural position wasn't defensive at all like Arteta. We struggled there for so long, it was a huge source of both our defensive problems and also lacking quick turnover by winning the ball and playing or running it forward quickly.

Any manager could look at the squad and go, hmm, most needed playing a proper DM. Emery bought one immediately and he's made a huge difference.
 
Should be have been a straight red all day.

I am however loving the fire that the Arsenal players seem to have in them now, it's the major thing that's been missing for a few years imo.

I told you..wenger was the problem at arsenal
 
Thing is.... we wont now how good Emery actually is at east for a few years.

The players still know how to attack from Wenger. All he's doing to fixing the small issues like def and def mid.

A bit like when Wenger took over.

He inherited the George Graham def and just added flair and passing to the mix.

But I like Emery. He's passionate and a fighter.

Just calming down after that. That was incredible. This truly is Emery's team now. The laziness and bottle job attitude has been beaten out of them.
