Its quite difficult at the moment to see what role Milner plays within the team, as Captain for instance I hardly seem to see him talking to any of the other players on the pitch, doesnt seem a lot of leadership coming from him and in footballing terms I'm not sure what his on pitch role is at present.

All our midfielders look garbage and have done for a while bar the one off. As much as I love Phil he's at Milner tier at the moment

We have no threat at all, Klopp idea just isnt working, Benteke needs to be on at half time

We look lost in the final third but we're missing Henderson's runs in to the box, Sturridge's pace and movement and Benteke's height and power so it's not in the slightest bit surprising. Our defence will take a while to sort but the attack just needs players back and fit again.

Francis finally says something worthwhile. Yes, Sakho and Skrtel should be more physical with Costa and a quick kick to the nutsack wouldn't go a miss.

Edit: Benteke for Milner and Tex for Lallana in the second half.

Why? One big tackle could see him subbed for someone with pace who is more likely to give you trouble. Costa is in dire form, isn't remotely dominating your defence or contributing at all. He's better on the pitch than off currently, he's also a much much more dangerous player when angry than not. Don't poke the bear, or in Costa's case, don't poke the t-rex who when angry and motivated might just score a hat-trick... of red cards for Liverpool players for reacting to him.

Coutinho still rubbish and still far too much of the possession based tactic of rather than making the run or passing forward choosing the easier option back. One of the key reasons Liverpool were so different with Suarez is because regardless of if the pass comes or not he makes the run, he drove forwards at every chance which dragged other players forward.
