Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [30th September - 2nd October 2011]

Poor first half from us.

Balotelli has looked the best player so far. Disappointing to lose Aguero early. Hope it isn't serious. Thank goodness for the international break!

I haven't read back through the thread but when I criticised your fans you brushed it off by saying all clubs fans do it. They don't though.

I had already aired my condemnation for the Everton fans' actions. I didn't brush it off. I pointed out that your 'holier than thou' attitude was misplaced, as demonstrated in the links I posted.

As I said, all clubs have the odd idiot. Liverpool fans haven't thrown coins, bottles etc at opposition players on mass as Everton fans did today. Not just Liverpool fans but I can't recall another premier league sides fans doing it to the extent that Everton fans did today.

Apparently they did it against Torres this season!

What 'holier than thou' attitude? Criticising Everton means that I think that no Liverpool fan has every thrown an object on the pitch and/or I think it's ok?

Have Liverpool fans thrown objects at players in the past? Yes. Have Everton fans done it previously? Yes. Have nigh on every club in the League? Yes and anybody caught should be banned.

Has any other Premier League club in recent years thrown coins and bottles at players to the same extent as Everton fans did today? Not that I can remember. From every corner Liverpool players were pelted with coins and bottles, it wasn't just a random idiot.

Apparently they did it against Torres this season!

They being Liverpool? We've not played Chelsea this season so if our fans have travelled to games just to pelt Torres, I'd be very surprised :p

no it didn't, you're lying your ass off to try and justify your **** weak point

do you not think the commentators and tv cameras would have picked up on it if it had happened before ?

it happened on two corners at the end, that was the only time it was visible and commentated on.

stop lying, you're not fooling anyone.

It did happen and it was picked up on. And stop crying, you've been our poor relations for long enough and it's not going to change anytime soon, learn to deal with it better.

You were trying to make out you couldn't recall your fans throwing things at other teams players. You were wrong.

My mistake it was last season, but it was still this year.

No, I made it very clear that every side has the odd idiot supporter and I commented on the extent that it happened today, and that I can't recall that happening anytime in recent memory :)

And I don't remember there being objects thrown at Torres when we played Chelsea last year

Weres Rotty when you need him.

I'm sure that one of the Dons will be along sooner rather than later.

I thought that we deserved the win today, and would have won with or without the sending off, but it was a very strange decision by the ref. I can only think he has sent him off for being off the ground at the start of his 'lunge' as apart from that I can't see much wrong with it??

For a while it seemed the sending off helped Everton more than it did us, though obviously superior numbers aided us in the end, and from the moment the red card was brandished the game changed.

Its a shame that the decision will be the main talking point, rather than what could have been a fantastic derby.

it was picked up on on the two times it happened, at the end of the game.

i couldn't' give a toss about being your poor relations (you're probably not even from liverpool like most of your fans) so calling me a relation is laughable.

That's true, I'd hate to be related to you :)

And it was picked up on throughout the game. Liverpool players were having to remove bottles from the pitch as they took throws and corners :)

edit: I'm sure most Evertonians would be ashamed to be linked to you tbf to them.

wtf has Hillsborough got to do with anything ? are you guys retarded

have you never heard of heysel

jesus wept, should have known what type of fans i was dealing with lol
