Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [30th September - 2nd October 2016]

Burnley defending well and Arsenal are not at the races. Slow progression up the pitch and final ball is shocking from everyone. Iwobi particularly frustrating, so much so I want the Ox on in his place. Not much else on the bench we can do to change it up.
 
Well Burnley's aproach of boring the opposition to sleep with 9 men in the box has worked on me. Nearly nodded off. It's like watching a Pulis team that is just there to not concede with barely any attacking intent. Arsenal are pretty sloppy so if they did attack occasionally there is a good chance they could get 3 points. Do they always play like this?
 
Thank god for that, quite possibly one of the worst games I've ever seen. Seeing the replay I'm not sure how that stands. Kos handballed it and was offside.
 
Awful performance, I'll take the result though.

Can't blame Burnley for the way they set up, but frustrating as hell to watch.
 
Feel sorry for Burnley, they were excellent at breaking Arsenal's play up throughout the game. Arsenal weren't amazing but credit must go to Burnley for making it so hard. Great 3 points though, win some lose some in terms of luck during the season.

How so?

It's scrappy goals/games like that, that could make a big difference at the end of the season. Not a good game but I'll take our 3 points.
