Well i hate teams that play negative football and just park the bus.
Sorry but Burnley dont deserve nothing out of that game imo.
Serves them right in my book.

So Burnley should have played open expansive football and almost certainly get well beaten instead of what they did which was keep it tight and make sure they stay in the game any maybe nick it? How dare they stop Arsenal play the beautiful game how it should be played.

yup play football. Why do u you think teams that play football get applauded rather then teams that sit back and play boring football.
You seem to love 10 man type of football. i dont and thats my opinion.
So glad Burnley Lost. Hopefully next game they will turn up and actually try to score a goal.. If not i hope they get relegated.

Every team has to play to their strengths, what ever that happens to be. With two of the best creative players in the premiership (on their day) in Sanchez and Ozil, its pretty obvious what Arsenal are set up to do.
Burnley cant attract anything like those names so they HAVE to try and get a point by playing defensively, and they certainly didnt deserve to lose to a non-goal

Arsenal were woeful and if Burnley attempted to attack they could easily have won. Instead they end up with nothing. Football at the end of the day is supposed to be a form of entertainment and I doubt anyone could have been entertained by that showing.

It would almost be believed that Arsenal had 30 shots to burnley's none.
Burnley did have 10 shots, vs Arsenal's 18. 1 on target vs our 3(the goal must count as one and it shouldn't have counted). Both teams hit the woodwork once.
Yes the defended more, but they didn't refuse to attack, they are just a vastly inferior team. Also one of the reasons they spent so long in the box defending was Arsenal took so damn long over every attack. Then as they took so long, Burnley got deeper which has the knock on effect of leaving them less options for getting out when they got the ball.

He ran up then stopped, then looked around for options. The whole team was just waiting for someone else to do something.

Football is now a business, surely you know this - it lost its "entertainment" badge long ago. The supporters have got used to this.
You cant fault those (much) less wealthy clubs by trying to win a point against a likely top four team by defending for their lives.

good for them for trying - Im sure they will attack more vs the likes of Sunderland and the other possible relegation candidates
This is what is wrong with fans of the 'bigger' clubs, as mentioned Burnley's value is something like £60m vs Arsenal's £370m but you demand that they should be on a footballing par.

There has been many lesser teams playing some good football. swansea and Southampton have in the past
So any team that doesn't go balls deep trying to play attractive football deserves to lose then.
How about when a team from League 2 or even non-League plays against Man U etc. in the FA cup should try and play them off the park after all it doesn't matter if they lose because at least they tried.
You say lesser teams like Swansea and Southampton but even they are a step up from Burnley (no disrespect meant to Burnley by the way) as they have international players on their teams.
I personally wouldnt compare cup games - only because every league point counts for the lower clubs - just a different kettle of fish 1 cup game (or two if there are replays) whereas with the league that game is done and dusted for that season, even reverse fixture its most likely to be completely different teams (fixtures and fitness permitting etc) and conditions - apart from the fact Burnley are far less likely to be able to get a point away from home vs Arsenal
