Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [31st January - 4th February 2020]

Last 10 minutes have been the most entertaining under Klopp imo, it's like an exhibition game.

Edit: Officials have been shocking today. So many basic mistakes and wrong calls.

Ruthless

Can see why Southampton have had success against lesser opposition recently though, great pressing and a crazy amount of tactical fouls

Salah unplayable recently, still not the finishing ability of the GOAT season for goals but general play has stepped up a few levels.

Bobby amazing for most of the match and not just moments also

4-0 FT and what a turn around after such an horrific first half.

How on earth do you pick a MOTM though? Alisson for keeping us in the game first half, Henderson for dominating midfield and getting a goal and an assist, Firmino for getting three assists and running the game or Salah for his two goals and constantly being a threat?

Top 8 confirmed

It's just bonkers how good Liverpool are. So much talk about City being the best ever when they hit 100 points. Looks like Liverpool are going to obliterate that.

The HT kick up the arse done the job, that was an excellent 2nd half performance.

Henderson's been playing well for a long time now but his form since Fabinho got injured a couple of months ago has gone to the next level. Moving back into the holding role he was playing as well if not better than Fab had been playing (and he'd been great) and now in the last few weeks he's getting forwards, scoring and creating goals. After a quiet few weeks in early December Bobby's been at his very best again the last 5-6 weeks and the 2nd half today he was outstanding - it's incredible that a striker, who's on a very heavily incentivised goal based contract, can be so unselfish.

Welcome to United Fernandes. Looks up for a pass and sees no one and has to pass backwards. Periera just looks more trash every time you see him. Mata as strong as ever and gets outmuscled by anyone weighing more than 120lbs wet.
