The referee in the Aston Villa v Spurs match has totally lost the plot! :D.

The refereeing today in general has been absolutely terrible.

He did but I'm not sure he didn't have a proper swing of his leg at the back of someones legs in there before the shoulder barge and the face shove in response. I think he kicked out at a player after the scuffle over the ball which itself would be a red card(they only showed one replay of the whole incident), but most players will get a red for a similar face push... not that I agree with it.

When someone leans their head in to yours and you push their face away, for me, no red card, not even a yellow card. If you punch someone in the face or shove someone in the face for no reason, sure, but when someone is getting in your face and you only push them away I can't see how it can be see as being overly aggressive or unwarranted.

Also, I don't think we should be giving out red cards for squishing foreheads together, red cards for homoerotic gestures seems a bit ott. Real headbutt, as in, pull back and whack forward with the intent to hurt, very much a red. Coming dangerously close to touching lips..... not so much.
 
'Pub challenges' comment is hilarious and ridiculous after that two footed lunge by Vert. Horrible 'challenge'.

On the contrary, they're a good source of entertainment :p.

Terrible standard of refereeing across the two matches today. 'Super Sunday' haha :o.
 
We are adopting Man Utd's style... punt it up to the big guy. Except we took the big guy off earlier in the match.
