Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [31st October - 5th November 2014]

Everyone and everything around him is ****. I don't think you can just blame him.

The whole team and its side-passing approach is so predictable.
The fact he ran about and put himself about for a few minutes proves he can do that but chooses not to most of the time. Just jogging around waiting for the ball to come to him is a sign he doesn't give a **** tbh.

Commentator starting to annoy me bitching about ballotelli, played no worse than the rest of them. He's been working fairly hard, making runs, chasing back etc yet making it out like he's stood around scratching his ass

Me too, it's like they expect him to do everything, then criticise when he does, drops to pick the ball up, whys he not in the box, in the box, why he has not moving about.

**** off.

1-0 FT

Newcastle deserved that tbh. Quicker to close the ball down, far more adventurous going forward and much stronger in defense.

Really concerned Rodgers peaked last season. He's trying exactly the same thing week after week with 4-2-3-1 and it's not showing any signs of working but then to switch to 4-4-2 and not use the diamond...

Very hard week ahead of him now.

Never really looked in trouble, great result and completely deserved.

What a turn around, fair play to Pardew (but I still hate him)

Spurs all over again for Liverpool. They'd obviously be better off with Sturridge but his effectiveness without Suarez may not be the same...

Surprising from Newcastle, thought Pardew was dead and buried.

that Aarons looks like quite a player if he keeps on developing in the same vein.

Now that's a top four performance against a small club

edit - four losses already this season for Liverpool

Skrtel, Gerrard and Mignolet are our only players to come out of this with any credit at all. The rest of it's been tosh.

I agree, although Balotelli would almost be on that list for me.

Hopefully Ballotelli + Sturridge will see us start picking up points but 1 point from Hull and Newcastle isn't top 4 stuff.

Roll on Madrid and Chelsea...

Liverpool have been awful recently. Sterling should be playing as number 10 not on the wing and Balotelli really has to be dropped now. He shoes no desire or belief.

As soon as Sturridge is back we'll start picking up points even if he doesn't hit the ground running in front of goal. He'll actually bust a gut making runs which will create space for everyone behind him again. I don't expect us to see Mario again for a while once he's back.
