Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [3rd - 7th February 2017]

Two poor teams still. Shocking at how much impact Kante has had. Leicester should have forced him to stay and people wouldn't be drooling over Chelsea, a PL winning team with no midweek games.

Why would you want Leicester to go down?

Leicester seem to be giving up with those subs.

Surely Kante can't make the difference between a team winning the league and getting relegated? If so, it must make him one of the most important players in Premiership history.

Last season was a perfect storm. Leicester had a good team, everyone was on fire for 90% of the season. They had almost no injuries to their important players. All the other "top" teams in the league were very sub par. Leicester played effective football that other teams were not prepared for necessarily.

Yeah all their players that were playing well above their ability last season have returned to being average/below average. And then they spent a lot of money on more average players.

Poor from Mata there but I think he was confused by the woeful defending :p

I think we all were!

DDG is such a good keeper. He just looks comfortable taking pretty much any shot, rarely drops shots. He fills you with so much confidence.

It's all the top teams fault and even mid table teams like Everton for being so utterly dire. Most of them know they will never achieve anything like that again, they have peaked and returning to the season that must effect your mindset.

I said at the time Vardy should have gone when he got the chance. It will be interesting to see if they sack Claudio.
