Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [3rd - 7th February 2017]

Poor performance but 3 points is important. Leicester could have probably beaten themselves without us doing anything today. Missed opportunity to get some confidence today, for some reason we decided to sit back on a 3-0 lead for 30 mins rather than actually practice scoring some goals. Dumb subs as well. Baffling.

That's what Mourinho does. The amount of times I saw Chelsea go in at HT at 3-0 and for the FT result to be 3-0....

Guess if you can keep possession you'd argue he's lowering the risk of a counter attack and saving energy levels for the next match.

Disappointed we only got 3 goals, could have had a few more. :(

A bit embarrassing for our league that Leicester won it last season, too.

the choice of subs was bad enough, but Utd just dont put sides to the sword when they get the opportunity.

After the 3rd goal Utd basically stopped playing for the most part where Arsenal, Spurs etc would carry on trying to get another few goals - shows why our GD is so ****

Vital three points but performance was terrible baring 20 minutes around half time

Surely the board at United can't be that stupid to not realise José has ruined ALL of the youngster's that showed talent. They can't give him full authority to sell players, it's annoying Fellaidud, who can't pass, comes on instead.
I want José out asap.

lol - it does seem moronic to not play Martial but Mourinho is going nowhere.

Here are Chelsea's remaining fixtures

Burnley (A), Swansea (H), West Ham (A), Watford (H), Stoke (A), Palace (H), Man C (H), Bournemouth (A), Manchester United (A), Southampton (H), Everton (A), Middlesbrough (H), West Brom (A), Sunderland (H)

For Chelsea to lose the title, they need to lose three of these and Spurs need to win every game to keep up. Chelsea have already played Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs twice.

Burnley, Everton and United away all worry me. Not too fussed about the rest. West Brom could also be a potential eggshell.

FYI United Fans

Since 2011, Juan Mata is statistically the @PremierLeague's best midfielder:

⚽️ 43 Goals. 41 Assists
