Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [4 - 8th May 2013]

I can't believe Chelsea didn't win that, they looked the better team for 80 minutes.

That Ramires slip and Hazard miss were costly.

to be fair Bale was triple marked out of the game pretty much every time he got the ball and Spurs don't have enough other good players to capitalise on the space that this opens up.

Ramires miss was funny though.

exactly.. bale didn't go missing he was just cut out by 2 or 3 players.

not sure how we drew then, being a one man team and all o dat

Yeah! Let's all hate Spurs.

Bale is so ****. If only there was a way we could get those awards back off him and get them to Rvp and Suarez.

Nothing like watching a team whose most expensive player was £15m fail against oligarchs' teams.

I knew we were on the same wave length Dom!

All greats forwards make their own space . Bale not a true forward was given his own role tonight. Avb fault if any he needed to open bale up to run free across the middle.

Indeed :( disappointed that Chelsea didnt win it in the end. Not exactly a great result for Arsenal either, huge pressure to win our last 2 games and judging by our inconsistency this season i wouldnt be surprised if we dont win our last 2 games.

Need either Spurs or Chelsea to drop some points in their remaining games now :/

current standings (games, GD, points):
17) Newcastle 36 -23 38
18) Wigan 36 -23 35
Arsenal remaining fixtures:
Arsenal V Wigan - Tue 14 May
Newcastle V Arsenal - Sun 19 May

Great atmosphere at the Bridge last night and I don't know how we managed not to win that one. At least I got my Amsterdam shirt last night. The qualification target moves forward to Saturday, where as last night a win will see us through.
