How is it not a good result for Arsenal? Tottenham still need to win both if we drop points and we have a chance of going 3rd now if Chelsea mess up which I can see happening against Everton. We were always going to need to win our last 2 games regardless of the result tonight.

If spurs had lost we'd only need 4pts from our last 2 games but since they drew we now need 6. Not an awful result but the outcome could have been much better
 
Ah yeah I wasn't taking their much worse goal difference into account. I quite like the idea of finishing 3rd anyway ;).
 
Stiliyan Petrov has announced his retirement. One of our strongest signings under MON without a doubt, hopefully he can fully recover from his battle against leukaemia. Thanks Stan.

As Leroy said above, its not a great result. The best result for us would have been Spurs losing. Now the pressure of winning our last 2 games is going to be immense and again we will have to pin our hopes on Chelsea or Spurs dropping points in their remaining games. Fingers crossed one of them does but its not exactly easy pinning our hopes on Chelsea/Spurs to drop points so we can sneak in.

I just hope we demolish Wigan when we play them, on paper we should but then looking at how we played against QPR at the weekend...it didnt fill me with great confidence...i just hate the fact that we score a goal then sit back and try to defend it, we have no killer instinct anymore from watching our last few games :/...i mean 1 goal against the almighty QPR...words fail me, they really do.
 
We don't have to rely on anyone, just beat 2 of the worst teams in the league. I think we'll do it quite convincingly.
 
Thought Adebeyor still played like a donkey last night, despite his couple of moments of class. My main disappointment however was Thudd, what on earth happened to his passing? It was awful.

It was rocking indeed & we regularly drowned out their 1 song ;)
I thought Hazard got a raw deal last night, he was blatantly taken out at least 5 times and it wasn't until late on that the stupid ref carded someone for it.
Hopefully we won't rue those stupid missed chances or Interim's stupid substitutions:confused:
