United paying the price for being far too negative against a pretty average opponent. The worst of Jose's tactical play.
 
Why is he bringing on Rashford now...

Jose make your ******* mind up about resting people. If you don't care about the result at 0-0 you don't start caring at 0-2.

We need to take Herrera off, he's played a lot recently.

Mourinho is clearly trying to get something from the game now so keeping Rooney on doesn't help that.
 
Rooney just drifts around the pitch, taking the ball off players who are better at what he's trying to do. Fascinating to watch.

He's probably hoping we snatch something but come on he was hoping for 0-0 today. If he wanted to win he wouldn't have rested over half our team.

Oh I totally agree that he was playing for a draw and perhaps hoping to steal a goal for a win but thats rarely worked this season and again our weak defence has been exposed. Very unlucky with the first goal but the second was just rubbish defending.

Talking about Xhaka taking confidence from scoring....a complete fluke. How would that give you any confidence.
 
The ball that Rooney just gave to Lingard was utter dog****. At any age he should be able to do that.
