Not a Spurs fan, but the bottling it stuff is hilarious, no one expected them to be 2nd, they have lost what 4 games and this forum pronounced the title as Chelsea's at Christmas. I would be too embarrassed if I was an Arsenal fan to even mock them for bottling two titles in may when your own yearly collapse for 10 freaking years happens at Christmas. Christ do you have zero dignity to poke fun at Spurs fans knowing you have the same backbone as a squid. You poke fun at the team that's tried to put the right foundations in for the future despite not being a bankrolled club, while you lumber on year in year out offering a failure another 2 years because he won't spend anything.
Man City have failed this year, so have Arsenal, Man United and to a small degree Liverpool (considering they have Jesus Christ as manager), no one expected Spurs to be running 2nd again. Spurs shouldn't even been close to Chelsea, they should have been out of sight by now.

I don't see how not winning a trophy instantly classifies the season as a failure. As long as there is progression and CL qualification, that's success in my book.
If they go on to win the CL next season (for example), that will have been down to the success of finishing 2nd this season.
