Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [4th - 10th May 2018]

Didn't even watch the match but I know the reports will reflect on the poor performance of players, however this had been inherent all season and last, when will they start looking at the manager who has no tactics or DNA?

Great managers turn average players into a formidable team... Whats Maureen's excuse?

In fairness to Jose United are second and certainly in my opinion they have a weak squad so he must be doing something right.

United have to be in the top three worst teams to watch in the league, right up there with West Brom for the top spot. Even when they win they're crap to watch.

Everton’s cost a lot as well if I recall, what’s your point? Unfortunately expensive does not equal good.

It's his job to make sure expensive = good

He's there to manage who we buy and how they play, he's either failing badly on one or more likely both.

He's clueless and that's something very apparent in my eyes. I've drummed this beat before but I wish someone could tell me what his tactics are, because at the moment he picks 11 players and they kind of just kick it around with no direction.

Good. Hate Stoke. Will never forgive the fans for their disgusting booing of Ramsay. Can’t see them holding onto the likes of Shaquiri or Butland now.

Seeing comments about Stoke

"still glad you sacked Pulis? Careful what you wish for"

That was 4 or 5 years ago!

Newcastle have clearly packed their bags and are off on the beach already.

Don't blame them but also a wee bit irritating considering the gold run we could have been comfortably top half.

West Brom couldn't stay up, could they?

They'd need Southampton to beat either Everton or Swansea and then win their last game along with anothet Swansea loss. Highly unlikely but they've given themselves the most unlikely of chances.

Considering West Broms recent results against Utd, Liverpool and now Spurs, fans must be kicking themselves that they werent like this all season

Huh? They need Southamton to lose to Everton, draw with Swansea and then Swansea and Southampton to both lose on the final day with West Brom winning their final game. If Southampton were to win any game they'd be on 35 points with WBA on 31 with 1 game left. It's incredibly unlikely still but to have got the points they have in the last couple of weeks has beene amazing given the state they were in.
