Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [4th - 10th May 2018]

We've been a complete shambles so far, really worried for top 4 now.

Quite bizarrely, considering their tallies this season, its the last 3rd of the pitch where we've looked the most poor today, however we still only need 1 goal as it stands in order to guarantee top 4, so still time to wrap it up today

Burnley haven't turned up today - they're making us look good.

Nice for Wenger to win his last home game and a chance to get big Per on to say goodbye.

That would've required them to be a better team than they are, not make the same mistakes that have contributed to their steady decline and to have bucked the overwhelming trend of not getting results at home against the big sides and being shocking away.

Overall, we were poor, especially up front where we broke up more of our own attacks than anything. We're going to have to raise our game a lot for the final if we are going to turn over RM.

Is there any way we could get Santi Cazorla on the pitch for the final game of the season as a substitute in the last minute, or do FA squad rules say no?

Didn't play too bad in the first half - controlled the game but lacked a cutting edge in the final third and conceded a fairly unlucky goal. Until the last 15 minutes of the second half we were rubbish though, not able to string two passes together let alone create any attacks. We love making things harder than they need to be and we're probably going to have to win on the final day now.
