Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [4th - 10th May 2018]

Liverpool are all in cruise control mode now, players scared of getting injured for the cl final. Well, someone needs to tell them that they won't be playing cl football next season unless they buck their ideas up.

I can see Brighton parking the bus on the last day and the score being nil nil.

In serious danger of throwing away the whole season.

It depends how we setup as the points aren't important for us anymore other than finishing higher up the table. There was a big relief in beating Man United to get to that 40 point mark, and the players probably think it's job done now. I can imagine their levels will drop a little bit in those 2 remaining games.
1-0 or 2-0 win for Liverpool at least

I have to say I thought Brighton would go straight back down, it's an amazing achievement to stay up.

I just think we have run out of steam now. Fully expect a draw here.

Come on Swansea. I have no problem with Southampton, but Hughes did such a terrible job at Stoke, it wouldn’t seem right for them to go down and him to scrape survival and get all the plaudits for it. Always thought he’s an utterly terrible manager with an awful attitude.

I can't see how getting Stoke three consecutive top 10 finishes is a 'terrible job' and he's far from the first manager to see his team start performing poorly after 2 or 3 seasons.

I think Huddersfield and Swansea are awful to watch so would happily see them go down. Southampton are decent to watch usually and will spend you'd think should they stay up..
Oh, I don't know. I'd love to see Hughes relegate two sides in the same year and have a giggle at some of the Saints supporters that have been raging at Liverpool for the past 3 years.
