Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [4th - 6th November 2016]

Sort of weirdly poor performance considering how we started. Should have utterly destroyed them considering how in control we were. I guess it's a win, losing Ibra for the Arsenal game is the dumbest thing though, easily avoidable.

Well, a great first half, pretty poor second half but that's a decent result.

Next game will be interesting, will be tough without Zlatan though, I'd fancy him against Arsenal.

Zlatan stuff

On whether he was aware he had scored the 25,000 goal in Premier League history: "Ah, no I wasn't. I thought that was only me who had scored 25,000..."

On his fifth yellow card of the season: "I thought we played rough in England? I play rough and I got a yellow card. What was it for? I don't know. Maybe I was too tired to hear why the referee gave it."

lol, got to love Zlatan.

West Brom 1 up, deservedly so as well i'd say.

Not for long, 1-1!

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho, speaking to BBC Sport: "We were really impressive in our control of the game. We controlled it by having a lot of the ball and hurting the opponent when we could. I know Fernando Llorente really well, I knew you can be in big trouble if you play in a certain way.

"Credit to my defensive line, Ashley Young is not a right-back, Matteo Darmian is not a left-back, Phil Jones was a great guy to make himself available for the team even without training for months. Marcus Rashford was also playing in a position that is not his position, but then the whole of the team played really well. I am really pleased

"We needed these three points after losing two against Burnley at home. This was the best way to end the period before the internationals."

So he is aware he's putting people out of position, interesting. Not even sure what he is talking about with Rashford

Personally think this is the best news to come out of today, hopefully means Rashford can play up front.

2nd half was very poor indeed after a very good 1st 45 minutes. This is what really annoys me at the moment, the rare time we control a game as much as we did today and basically gave up after 1/2 time - similar to both Fenevache and Leicester at home, admittedly Lingard scored 3 minutes into 2nd half in the former but after that we just sat on our laurels (while conceeding stupid goals at the same time)

Rojo is as much a centre-half as he is a full back (Im sure when he was bought by LvG it was meant at his versatility at the back ) so its not really similar to putting Rashford on the wing or Young as a defender imo
