What the hell indeed, you can't argue with the results but having just got back from the game, Swansea fans must be weeping into their hands, travel all that way, play by far the better football and lose 2-0?

Southampton played appallingly and desperately need a new left back for when Shaw is unavailable.

I'm not actually sure if Danny Fox understands that he's playing football, I don't think i've ever seen such an abysmal defensive display in all my life.

All I can say is that i'm glad I didn't pay my own money to watch that shower of ****.

Man of the match must by Artur Boruc though, the only player who kept Saints in that game, doesn't bode well for England.
 
time for some long range pot shots. Much as I like Jaskelainnen, he doesn't hold the ball at all; we should shoot and hope for a rebound.
 
GIroud will no doubt score either as I type or a few after I've posted, but he's been completely awful. First touch has been awful, his movement is poor, he keeps coming and standing in central midfield despite having Ramsey/Wilshire/Ozil there to create and leaving no one making runs behind to either give them someone to pass to or create space by working the defence.
